Fees & Charges Policy

This Fees & Charges Policy (Policy) sets out the fees and charges that may apply to the use of Tap Ease services.

This Policy forms part of, and is incorporated into, the Tap Ease Website Terms & Conditions. Capitalised terms have the meanings given in those Terms.

1. General

1.1 Fees and charges apply for access to, and use of, Tap Ease services, including payment terminals, platforms and related administrative support.

1.2 All fees are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

1.3 Fees are payable regardless of transaction success, availability of services, or user revenue.

2. Types of Fees

Tap Ease may charge fees including, without limitation: (a) terminal rental or access fees (weekly, fortnightly or monthly); (b) transaction processing or service fees; (c) chargeback fees imposed by banks or processors; (d) refund administration fees; (e) compliance, investigation or verification fees; (f) replacement, repair or loss fees for terminals; (g) any other fees notified to you from time to time.

3. Fee Disclosure and Changes

3.1 Current fee categories will be disclosed during onboarding or made available on request.

3.2 Tap Ease may vary, introduce or remove fees at any time by providing reasonable notice via the website, platform or direct communication.

3.3 Continued use of services after notice constitutes acceptance of amended fees.

4. Payment and Recovery

4.1 Tap Ease may deduct fees from settlements, invoice you directly, or recover amounts by any lawful means.

4.2 You authorise Tap Ease to set off fees, charges, losses or liabilities against any amounts otherwise payable to you.

5. Non-Refundable Fees

5.1 Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

5.2 No refund is provided for unused services, suspended accounts or terminated access.

6. Taxes

6.1 You are responsible for all taxes, duties or charges arising from your use of the services.

7. No Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tap Ease is not liable for loss arising from fee deductions, changes or recovery actions taken in accordance with this Policy.

8. Amendments

Tap Ease may amend this Policy at any time by publishing an updated version on its website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Use of Tap Ease services constitutes acceptance of this Policy.
